Application for reservation

Selection of service, available date and confirmation of appointment in one process. The design of the booking application combines customer convenience with the principles of calendar management on the company's side.

Booking application with date selection and appointment confirmation

From concept to completion

Customers need to find the right service and an available appointment quickly. Each slot must account for appointment length, breaks and the availability of the person or space involved. The design therefore starts with the calendar rules and the information needed to book.

The interface guides customers through choosing a time, entering their details and reviewing the booking. The final screen clearly confirms its status. The presentation centres on the calendar, time selection and confirmation, with a strong blue accent highlighting active elements.

For the team, the app needs to support manual bookings, blocked time slots and schedule changes. Shared availability for online and telephone bookings keeps the calendar in one place.

Project details

The scope depends on the services offered, scheduling rules and available capacity. The core is a clear booking journey paired with a dashboard where the team can manage appointments.

We start by defining the services, their duration and availability rules, then design the booking journey and screens for customers and staff. The design also covers fully booked dates, missing information and slots taken while someone is booking.

Before launch, the full journey is checked, including rescheduling, cancellations and notifications. Payments and integrations are selected to match the agreed scope.

The result

The intended journey takes customers from service selection to a clear appointment confirmation. The team gets an organised booking view with controls for availability and changes.

Application development may include additional services, payments or a waiting list. It is worth setting priorities based on the actual use of the process and reports from customers and service.
